SAHARA communications, a leading media consultancy firm, have recently wrapped up a major media campaign to support the high profile Sharjah Heritage Days.
The Sharjah Heritage Days is a glorious cultural event which offers a lively, entertaining atmosphere featuring handicrafts and displays from the coastal, agricultural, mountain and Bedouin environments, as well as markets and entertainment. Held annually, the event runs over three full weeks in April, and is organized by the Directorate of Heritage, Department of Culture and Information to coincide with UNESCO’S Heritage International Day celebrations.
With over 15 years’ experience in the Arab Gulf market and a global network of contacts, SAHARA were the number one choice to support the festival. Using their extensive experience and expertise, SAHARA were able to combine the sprawling activities and locations of the festival into one channel of communication, feeding both public and stakeholders with the highlights of the event.
The direct result of this targeted media campaign was the generation of over US$8 million worth of media value, the highest amount raised in the whole 20 years of the history of the Sharjah Heritage Days
